Hugging Face rebuilds AUTOMATIC1111 features as Gradio Workflow1111
10 Sep 2026: Gradio authors published Workflow1111 — most of AUTOMATIC1111’s stable-diffusion-webui feature set rebuilt as a 73-node Gradio Workflow canvas with eleven media pipelines. REST/MCP outputs are described on the HF blog.
10 Sep 2026: Yuvraj Sharma and Abubakar Abid published “Rebuilding AUTOMATIC1111 with Gradio Workflow” on the Hugging Face blog. That is the filing event.
The post describes Workflow1111 as a graph of eleven media pipelines built from seventy-three nodes. Named pipelines include text-to-image, hi-res fix, img2img, prompt-matrix, VLM interrogate, detection-to-inpaint, ControlNet-style annotators, background removal, PNG Info, and image-to-video.
The authors say model calls use the signed-in user’s Hugging Face quota or access token. They say the Space can be tried or duplicated on Hugging Face.
On the same post: every output node becomes a REST endpoint, and those endpoints are also MCP tools if the app is launched with mcp_server=True. That is the Gradio authors’ description, not a third-party recap.
A dated Gradio rebuild of a widely used image-gen UI, with a public Space. File the canvas. Keep the REST and MCP claims as the authors wrote them.
