Russia’s Dmitriev says AI development can’t be slowed: ‘You can’t put the genie back in the bottle’

Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s Direct Investment Fund and a presidential special representative, told RIA Novosti that AI development cannot be slowed despite industry leaders’ safety calls for pacing.

While Western lab CEOs debate slowing down, a senior Russian AI and investment voice says restraint is not available.
