Salesforce unveils Trusted Enterprise AI Harness and AI Control Plane

10 Sep 2026: Salesforce published “Salesforce Introduces the Trusted Enterprise AI Harness.” That news-stories page is the filing event.

Salesforce: six trusted capabilities — Trusted Context, Trusted Agency, Trusted Action, Trusted Governance, Trusted Security, and Trusted Models — in a common, composable architecture. Customers can use the six together or take only what they need, including third-party models, agents, and systems.

Alongside those capabilities, Salesforce is introducing an AI Control Plane to discover and register agents and AI, set identity and policy, manage lifecycle, evaluate performance, observe outcomes, and control cost — across Salesforce and third-party AI.

Salesforce says the Harness draws on Data 360, Informatica, MuleSoft and Agent Fabric, Tableau, Agentforce, Salesforce Guardian, and the Salesforce Platform. Many of those foundation technologies are available today; new capabilities and the unified experience are planned to begin rolling out in early fiscal FY28 (Salesforce’s FY28 starts 1 Feb 2027). Additional availability, packaging, pricing, and upgrade-path details will be announced closer to general availability.
