WisdomAI launches Live Apps for governed, prompt-built enterprise analytics

WisdomAI announced general availability of Live Apps, prompt-built governed analytics applications connected to live enterprise data, positioned as a faster alternative to traditional dashboards without giving up accuracy or control.

Two quotes from the chief executive, filed as quotes. Soham Mazumdar is chief executive and co-founder. He said only 19 percent of analytics leaders surveyed in the company’s recent study are fully confident in their AI-generated insights, even as employees find more ways to use AI with company data. What the app inherits, and where the data stays. Live Apps are built on secure, governed WisdomAI domains. They inherit certified metric definitions, semantics, row-level and column-level security, and role-based access controls. Row-level security, which the trade shortens to RLS, is a rule for which rows of a table a person may see, such as only their region. Column-level security is the same idea for fields, such as hiding a pay column. Role-based access control, shortened to RBAC, means the permission follows the person’s job. The apps query federated sources while the underlying data stays in place. Federated, here, means the question runs across databases where the data already lives, without copying it into a new system. One customer is retiring its entire production dashboard estate in favor of Live Apps, with projected savings of more than $500,000. Production means the dashboards the company actually runs. WisdomAI’s survey of 201 enterprise data, AI, and analytics leaders found that 56 percent have AI analytics in production, and that only 7 percent say AI is actively used by every line of business. Fifty-six percent is a majority of those leaders saying the tools are running somewhere. Seven percent is a small share saying every part of the company uses them.
