Anthropic merges Claude Cowork and chat into one Claude

Anthropic said Claude Cowork and chat are merging into one Claude, so users no longer pick a separate place for bigger agentic work. The company also introduced Claude Docs and Claude Slides, and said Claude Design now works inside conversations. The merge is rolling out to Pro and Max plans first over the next few weeks on web, desktop, and mobile, with Team and Free to follow and Enterprise admins getting at least 30 days’ notice before changes.

What the company says is new today: Claude Docs and Claude Slides. Claude Design, already a visual tool, now works inside conversations too. Ask for a document, and you and Claude write it together. Ask for a presentation, and Claude drafts the slides. All three are in beta on paid plans, and Enterprise admins choose when to turn them on.
