Corpay expands AI agent team inside Corpay Complete for spend control
24 Sep 2026 (ET): Corpay (NYSE: CPAY) said it is expanding its team of purpose-built AI agents inside Corpay Complete. New agents analyze spend and flag anomalies, create expenses by voice, and auto-code transactions to GL accounts, tax codes, and cost centers — rolling out to eligible customers this month.
FINANCE desk — the person who watches company spend still has to spot an odd charge, speak an expense into the system, and assign the right account codes, usually inside the card platform the company already trusts. Corpay’s announcement is three agents that each take one of those jobs, with the same controls and a record of what they did.
What the line above the lede says, and what the lede says the launch is. The line above the lede says One Card. One Platform. AI Agents Built to Work for Your Team. The lede says Corpay, Inc. (NYSE: CPAY), the Global Spend Management Company, today announced it is expanding its team of purpose-built AI agents inside Corpay Complete. Each agent is built to do one job well across corporate, fleet, and vendor payments. An AI agent, here, is software built to take the next step on one job, not only to answer a question. Corporate payments are company-card spend. Fleet payments are vehicle spend, such as fuel. Vendor payments are what the company pays its suppliers. Those glosses are this desk’s. The release prints the words. Today announced, and expanding, are the release’s. The release does not print a first-ship date past that wording. This filing does not treat 24 Sep 2026 as the first day any Corpay agent existed.
What the release says came before today. Corpay’s AI capabilities are accelerating fast. In April this year, it introduced its first agent, the AI Virtual Assistant Agent, which gives users visibility into spend, and answers their questions. In July, Agent Card gave trusted AI agents a secure way to create and use virtual cards within existing payment controls. Today, Corpay is growing that team. A virtual card, here, is a card number created for a payment, inside limits the company already set. That gloss is this desk’s. April, July, and today are the release’s months. This year, on a 24 Sep 2026 release, is 2026. This desk did not open the April or July releases for this filing. First agent is the release’s description of the April assistant. It is not a product census this desk made.
Where the agents sit, and whose controls those are. Together, the release says, Corpay’s agents understand spend, do the work, and help businesses act. They all run inside Corpay Complete, which brings spend data, workflows, and payments together in one place. Every agent operates with the finance-grade controls and full audit visibility that finance teams already trust. Finance-grade controls, here, means the limits and approvals a finance team already uses on the card program. Full audit visibility means a person can look back at what the agent did. Those glosses are this desk’s. The release prints the words. Already trust is the release’s claim about the teams. It is not a survey this desk ran.
Danny Martucci, as a quote, not as a measured saving. Danny Martucci, President and GM of Commercial Card at Corpay, said they did not set out to build one AI agent that claims to do everything well. He said businesses are looking for agents they can trust to do the work accurately and securely. He said there is no new system to learn. It is a team of agents that works the way you already do, with added efficiency to help your business save more time and money. Save more time and money is his sentence. It is not a count of hours or dollars this desk measured. No new system to learn is his sentence. It is not a training log this desk opened. Those are his sentences on the release. This desk did not interview him.
The three agents named today. Embedded Insights Agent helps admins analyze spend and automatically flags anomalies, with no report required. An anomaly, here, is a charge that does not look like the usual pattern. No report required means the flag is supposed to show up without someone first building a report. Those glosses are this desk’s. The release prints the words. AI Voice Assistant Agent creates and completes expenses by voice, and it also answers questions about cards, transactions, and account status in plain language. Plain language means a person can ask in ordinary words. That gloss is this desk’s. Accounting Coding Agent automatically codes transactions for card administrators to the correct GL account, tax code, and cost center. GL is the general ledger, the company’s account books. A tax code is the tax label on the charge. A cost center is the team or budget the charge belongs to. Those glosses are this desk’s. The release prints GL, tax code, and cost center, and it does not expand them. Correct is the release’s word. It is not an audit this desk signed. Admins, and card administrators, are the release’s names for the people the agents help. This desk did not watch a coding run.
Who gets it, and when the release says that happens. Corpay’s expanding roster of AI agents is rolling out to eligible Corpay Complete customers this month, with more agents on the way. This month, on a 24 Sep 2026 release, is September 2026. Eligible is the release’s limit. This desk did not check a customer list, and it did not see the next agents. The learn-more line is www.corpay.com/commercial-cards/corpay-mastercard/. The release also says the press release features multimedia and points at the Business Wire URL. That URL returned 500. The FinancialContent schema image is a separate graphic on a newsrpm address. This filing does not use that graphic as the card.
Who the about box says the company is, and the lines under it. Corpay (NYSE: CPAY), the Global Spend Management Company, is an S&P 500 company with three primary B2B solution sets. Spend Management provides corporate and virtual card programs and automates procure-to-pay. Cross-Border converts foreign currencies and establishes foreign bank accounts. Vehicle Solutions controls fuel, tolls, parking, and related vehicle spend. B2B means business to business. Procure-to-pay is the path from a purchase through to the payment. Those glosses are this desk’s. S&P 500 is the about box’s index line. This desk did not check the index. The about box’s closer is: with Corpay, the more a business controls, the less it spends. That is the about box’s sentence. It is not a finding this desk measured. A line under the about box says subject to credit review and approval. Another line says Corpay Mastercards are issued by Fifth Third Bank, N.A. or another financial institution, pursuant to a license by Mastercard International Incorporated. The media contact is Alex Kaminsky, Media@Corpay.com. This desk did not email that address. The learn-more line in the about box is www.corpay.com.
What the card shows, and what the 24 Sep release does not print. The card is the Corpay AI chat UI from corpay.com/corpay-ai, a headless product-page crop with a dark navy frame and a Corpay red rail on the left. The question on the still: Which vendors increased spend the most last month? The answer on the still: The vendors with the largest increase in spend from August to September 2025 are: Sundaram Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. August: $20,187.03. The September line on the still reads $39,340.041 as this desk reads the glyphs. Sundaram Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., those two dollar lines, and the year 2025 are the product UI’s. The 24 Sep release does not print them. Do not treat Sundaram as a customer this desk verified. Do not treat $20,187.03 or $39,340.041 as a measured result from the wire. Do not treat September 2025 as this filing’s dateline. The 11:31 AM EDT stamp is the release’s. It is not printed as a desk date on the card. The card has no desk date overlay.
What the Corpay AI page adds, and what it does not let you file as the wire. The page at corpay.com/corpay-ai, read 24 Sep 2026, calls Corpay AI a conversational intelligence layer built into every Corpay platform. It says finance teams can ask questions in plain language and get answers without digging through reports, dashboards, or spreadsheets. Sample questions on that page include what vendors the company is spending the most with, why fuel costs increased this month, which invoices are slowing payments, and where cash flow can improve. The still’s question is which vendors increased spend the most last month. Do not collapse those two questions. Tom Pierce, Chief AI Officer at Corpay, is quoted on that page: AI is not a trend, it is a transformation, and Corpay is engineering it into every payment. That quote is the product page’s. The 24 Sep release does not print it, and it does not print his name. This desk did not interview him.
What the commercial-cards page adds, and what it does not let you file as the wire. The learn-more URL in the release is the Corpay Mastercard commercial-cards page. That page repeats the line One Card. One Platform. AI Agents Built to Work for Your Team. It describes an agent that provides embedded insights, flags anomalies, creates virtual cards, auto-codes transactions, and answers questions about cards, transactions, and status. Those lines are the page’s. The 24 Sep release is the page that names Embedded Insights Agent, AI Voice Assistant Agent, and Accounting Coding Agent. Do not collapse “your agent” on the product page into those three proper names unless the sentence is on the release. Rebate and issuer claims on that product page, including an average annual rebate, a total rebates figure, and a rank as a commercial card issuer, are that page’s. The 24 Sep release does not print them. This desk did not audit a rebate.
Plain English for the rest of the card. Corpay Complete is the platform the agents run inside. An AI agent here does one job. The Embedded Insights Agent looks at spend and flags charges that do not look usual, without a report built first. The AI Voice Assistant Agent lets a person create or finish an expense by speaking, and it answers ordinary questions about cards, transactions, and account status. The Accounting Coding Agent assigns a transaction to a general-ledger account, a tax code, and a cost center. A general ledger is the company’s account books. A cost center is whose budget the charge hits. Finance-grade controls and full audit visibility mean the limits the finance team already uses, and a record of what the agent did. April’s AI Virtual Assistant Agent and July’s Agent Card are earlier agents on the same release. Eligible customers this month means September 2026, and only the customers Corpay says are eligible. 11:31 AM EDT is 11:31 a.m. Eastern and 3:31 p.m. UTC. 15:31:01 UTC is the syndication’s modified clock, one second later. NYSE: CPAY is the stock ticker. Danny Martucci is president and general manager of commercial card. Alex Kaminsky is the media contact. Sundaram Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and the August and September dollar lines are the product chat’s. This filing is the 24 Sep announcement.
PRIMARY here: Corpay’s 24 Sep 2026 Business Wire, release 20260924972539, stamped September 24th 2026, 11:31 AM EDT on the FinancialContent syndication this desk read — Tier A PRIMARY, the company’s own announcement. businesswire.com itself returned 500. The expansion inside Corpay Complete, the one-job sentence across corporate, fleet, and vendor payments, the April AI Virtual Assistant Agent, the July Agent Card, the finance-grade controls and full audit visibility, the Martucci quote, the Embedded Insights Agent, the AI Voice Assistant Agent, the Accounting Coding Agent, the rollout to eligible customers this month, more agents on the way, the about box, subject to credit review and approval, the Fifth Third Bank issuer line, and Media@Corpay.com are that release’s. The chat question, Sundaram Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., August $20,187.03, September $39,340.041, and August to September 2025 are the product UI’s. Tom Pierce and the sample questions on corpay.com/corpay-ai are that page’s. The rebate and issuer claims on the commercial-cards page are that page’s. NOT claimed: that this desk opened businesswire.com, that 24 Sep 2026 is the first Corpay agent, a customer list behind eligible, that save more time and money was measured here, that Sundaram is a verified customer, that the chat’s dollar lines are the wire’s, a price, a stock tip, or investment advice. The card is the Corpay AI spend chat. Distinct from the already-filed feedzai-farol, place-maxwell-ai-mortgage, and narmi-ai-marketplace.
