NVIDIA's RTX Spark AI laptops are on sale today, starting at $2,599
NVIDIA on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, said RTX Spark Windows laptops are available today from major PC makers, packing a Blackwell RTX GPU and Grace CPU into slim notebooks meant to run local AI agents, creative apps, and games on one machine.
The AI PC pitch just got a price tag and a ship date. NVIDIA is selling a messenger-bag machine that claims a petaflop of local FP4 and enough unified memory to keep agents, 8K edits, and AAA games on the same Windows laptop — without a cloud tab open for every prompt. If the stack holds, the personal agent stops being a demo and starts being a SKU you can return to Best Buy.
NVIDIA announced on Oct. 16, 2026, that NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops are available today from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI, with additional systems to follow. The machines are slim Windows notebooks. Those lines are NVIDIA's.
At the core is a single superchip: an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX graphics processor and an NVIDIA Grace CPU. Unified memory means the graphics chip and the CPU share one pool of memory instead of each keeping its own. NVIDIA says the laptops offer up to 128GB of that shared memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. A petaflop is a thousand trillion math steps a second. FP4 is a short number format that lets the chip do more of those steps on AI work. NVIDIA says that is enough to run large language models and AI agents on the machine itself. Those figures are NVIDIA's.
MediaTek collaborated with NVIDIA on the custom CPU design, contributing to power efficiency, performance, and connectivity. Those lines are NVIDIA's.
The software stack on the device, as NVIDIA lists it: CUDA, DLSS, OptiX, Reflex, G-SYNC, TensorRT, and hardware-accelerated video. CUDA is NVIDIA's layer that lets programs use the chip. Those names are NVIDIA's.
Day-one local agents and apps, as NVIDIA names them: GitHub Copilot, Hermes, OpenClaw, Perplexity, Pi, and WorkBuddy. An agent here is software that can take a chain of steps, not only answer a chat. NVIDIA also calls out Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B-A9B 24GB, a 74-billion-parameter model, for supported configurations. NVIDIA OpenShell and Microsoft Execution Containers are meant to control agent permissions. NVIDIA PAIR lets the laptop share inference with other computers on a home network. Inference, here, is running a trained model to get an answer. Those names are NVIDIA's.
On the creative side, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere offer native RTX Spark support through beta releases at launch, with Substance coming soon. NVIDIA also names Broadcast 2.3 and ComfyUI RTX Video nodes. Those lines are NVIDIA's.
Gaming titles NVIDIA lists for day one include Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Gears of War: E-Day, Marvel Rivals, World of Warcraft, and NBA 2K27, using DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. DLSS is NVIDIA's AI upscaling and extra-frame system. Those names are NVIDIA's.
The laptops are available globally today through OEM websites and major retailers, starting at $2,599. Pricing and configurations vary by region. The lineup NVIDIA prints: ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra and OmniBook X 14, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ and Prestige N16. NVIDIA also uses the phrase "all-day battery life." It does not print a battery-hour number. This announcement is about laptops available today. Those lines are NVIDIA's.
Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's founder and chief executive, said: "RTX Spark brings the power of NVIDIA AI, RTX graphics and CUDA together with Microsoft Windows in one PC for creating, gaming and running personal AI agents." Yusuf Mehdi, executive vice president at Microsoft, said: "We're building Windows to be the platform for hybrid intelligence, where AI can run locally when it makes sense and reach the cloud when needed." Those quotations are theirs, on NVIDIA's newsroom page.

In plain terms, NVIDIA said on Friday that RTX Spark Windows laptops are on sale today from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI, starting at $2,599. Each packs a Blackwell RTX GPU and a Grace CPU with up to 128GB of shared memory and up to a petaflop of local FP4 AI. Day-one software covers local agents, Adobe betas, and a list of games. The machines NVIDIA is selling today are laptops.
