OpenAI says Perplexity trusts GPT-6 Astra with end-to-end systems

OpenAI published a customer story saying Perplexity — the AI answer-engine startup — is using GPT-6 Astra to craft communications, edit real production software, monitor systems, and build end-to-end test harnesses.

While CEOs argue about pacing the frontier, OpenAI is posting a same-day claim that a major answer engine already trusts GPT-6 Astra to write, change, and babysit production systems with less human hovering — a concrete agents-in-the-stack datapoint.
