Salesforce unveils AIforce so CRM context works inside Claude, Slack, and Coworker

Salesforce said AIforce is a live interface layer that brings Salesforce’s data, workflows, business logic, permissions, security, and governance into AI surfaces. It launches with Claudeforce (Salesforce in Claude, beta), Slackforce, and Agentforce Coworker (company).

SOFTWARE desk — same-day company primary that the CRM system of record is being pushed into the AI chat surfaces people already live in, with permissions and governance claimed to travel with the data.

Pitch, as Salesforce tells it: people do not have to open the Salesforce app and click through its screens to use that context. Salesforce comes to them — in Claude, Slack, Lightning, or other surfaces. Employees who have never opened a dashboard can ask questions, update records, and trigger workflows grounded in Salesforce data and business logic. Agents, the company says, can read across many records, pull in connected systems, and take action with that same governed view. File that come-to-you picture as Salesforce’s. This desk did not update a record from a chat window.

Stack, still company framing: AIforce sits with Data 360 (unified context), Customer 360 (application and semantic intelligence), and Agentforce (digital workforce) in what Salesforce calls the Agentic Enterprise architecture. File that four-layer picture as Salesforce’s. This filing is the AIforce interface layer only — not a new CRM reasoning model and not the already-filed Google Cloud Hyperforce partnership.

Launch surfaces named on the same page (company): Claudeforce, Slackforce, and Agentforce Coworker, with more to come. File those three names as Salesforce’s launch set. This desk is not inventing extra branded surfaces beyond what the newsroom printed.

Claudeforce / Salesforce in Claude, company: a prebuilt MCP server inside Claude. MCP means Model Context Protocol — a standard way an AI tool calls an outside system without a one-off custom hookup. Salesforce in Claude includes 37 prebuilt sales skills, from prospecting to pipeline hygiene. For builders, the Salesforce Development plug-in for Claude Code brings more than 40 skills plus Salesforce’s broader skills library on GitHub. Salesforce says it has been piloted by Deloitte, GitLab, and Legora, and is now available to customers in beta. Beta means limited or preview access — not a claim that every Salesforce customer has a finished, generally available product. Analytics with Tableau and more skills for service, marketing, commerce, and industries are “in the near future” — company roadmap, not general availability today. File the MCP server, the 37 / 40-plus skill counts, the three pilot names, the beta window, and the Tableau-later line as Salesforce’s. This desk did not open Claude against a Salesforce org.

Slackforce, still company: Slackforce Surfaces for live shared interfaces a team can filter, explore, comment on, and act on together; Slackbot as a personal assistant that can use Salesforce context; Slack CRM, so people can create or update Salesforce records from Slack; and Slack Code for multiplayer agent coding inside Slack. File those four jobs as Salesforce’s. This desk did not build a Surface or log a call from Slack.

Agentforce Coworker, company: an AI teammate inside Lightning — Salesforce’s main app interface. It uses existing permissions and business rules, calls specialized Agentforce agents a customer has already built, and can be turned on with a button. Salesforce’s claim: 100,000 users activated Coworker within its first 35 days. File that 100,000 / 35-day line as Salesforce’s — not an independent audit this desk ran. The 35-day activation figure means Coworker was already in customers’ hands before today’s AIforce umbrella unveil; this filing does not treat Coworker as a brand-new ship dated only 15 Sep. This desk did not press the activation button.

Named voices on the company page: Marc Benioff, chair and CEO of Salesforce; Elia Wallen, founder and CEO of Engine; and Brandon Bernard, senior vice president / sales technology strategist at Fulton Bank. File the names and titles as theirs, via Salesforce. Bernard’s company-attributed anecdote: Fulton Bank went from zero to more than 20 use cases in production in weeks, supporting about 3,000 users. File that 20 / 3,000 line as Fulton Bank’s, via Salesforce. Their quotes are color only beyond that attributed anecdote and stay in Sources. This desk did not interview the customers.

Pricing and packaging, company: subject to change. Availability may vary by region and is governed by customer agreements. The newsroom page does not print a list price. This desk is not inventing one.

Plain English for the rest of the card: CRM = customer relationship management, the sales and service system of record. MCP = Model Context Protocol, a way for AI tools to call outside systems. beta = limited or preview access, not general availability. GA = generally available, shipping widely. Lightning = Salesforce’s main app interface. Agentforce = Salesforce’s AI-agent product line. Zero Data Retention, as Salesforce uses it = business data answers the question at hand and is not kept by the model provider.

PRIMARY here: Salesforce’s 15 Sep 2026 newsroom story — Tier A PRIMARY company source, the original record. The Dreamforce 2026 media hub is same-day lineup context, not a second originating newsroom. The AIforce live-interface-layer unveil, the come-to-Claude / Slack / Lightning pitch, the Data 360 / Customer 360 / Agentforce stack framing, the Claudeforce / Slackforce / Coworker launch set, the prebuilt MCP server and 37 sales skills, the Claude Code plug-in and 40-plus skills, the Deloitte / GitLab / Legora pilots, the beta window, the Tableau-later roadmap, Slackforce Surfaces / Slackbot / Slack CRM / Slack Code, Agentforce Coworker in Lightning, the company 100,000-users-in-35-days claim, the Benioff / Wallen / Bernard names, the Fulton Bank 20-use-case / about-3,000-user anecdote, and the pricing-subject-to-change line are company-attributed. Product claims, pilot names, and activation counts stay company-attributed — not independently verified here. NOT claimed: list prices, independently verified Coworker user counts, that Salesforce in Claude is generally available, that this desk tested Claudeforce or Slackforce, a stock tip, or investment advice. Distinct from the already-filed salesforce-koa-nemotron, salesforce-google-unify-agents, salesforce-tsa-ace, coder-claude-code-agent-relay, sps-commerce-max-ga, and wso2-agent-manager-ga.

On 15 Sep 2026 at Dreamforce, Salesforce unveiled AIforce, described as a live interface layer that brings the company’s data, workflows, business logic, semantics, permissions, security, and governance into AI interfaces where people and agents already work. A CRM — customer relationship management system — is the sales and service system of record that holds accounts, deals, and cases. The company PRIMARY is Salesforce’s newsroom story “Salesforce Unveils AIforce, Bringing the Full Power of Its Platform to Any Interface,” dated September 15, 2026. The same-day Dreamforce 2026 media hub lists AIforce among the 09/15/26 announcements — lineup context, not a second originating newsroom. That company page is the filing event. These are company claims. This desk did not run AIforce. Salesforce’s “#1 AI CRM” line is company positioning — not a desk ranking.
