Augmentir launches Augie Command Center so factories run ops in plain language
Augmentir announced at IMTS 2026 that Augie Command Center and Augie Procedure Studio are generally available. The company says frontline leaders can deploy industrial AI agents, build dashboards, analyze operations, and turn SOPs into interactive procedures by describing what they want in natural language — with approval gates and audit trails (company).
SOFTWARE desk — same-day company primary that a connected-worker vendor put shipping natural-language controls on industrial agents and digital procedures, with human approval gates — not another vague manufacturing AI brochure.
Command Center, as the same wire has it: a single conversational experience for frontline operations. Frontline here means the people on the factory floor and the supervisors next to them. The company says leaders can analyze live operations data, turn that insight into deployed workflows, procedures, and training, create conversational and autonomous industrial AI agents in plain language, and take a working use case from one line to the next line or plant — without report builders or SQL. SQL is the usual query language for pulling numbers from a database.
Procedure Studio, still company: describe a procedure in a sentence, or provide an existing SOP, and Augie generates an interactive digital procedure with instructions, safety warnings, checklists, data-entry fields, and confirmation signatures. An SOP is a standard operating procedure — the written how-to for a factory task. Users can refine the draft conversationally — add a warning, reorder a step, rename a field — without opening a configuration panel. Bulk import converts libraries of PDFs, Word documents, and spreadsheets. SharePoint sync connects to existing SOP folders and keeps procedures current as the source files change.
Context claim, company: a patent-pending system of context that combines live work-execution data — procedures, assets, historical performance — with workforce intelligence covering skills, certifications, proficiency, and experience, plus connected ERP, MES, CMMS, QMS, and LMS data. ERP and MES are enterprise and manufacturing planning systems that hold business and production data. CMMS is computerized maintenance management. QMS is a quality-management system. LMS is a learning-management system.
Controls, still company: every action runs inside configurable approval gates. Each customer decides what Augie does on its own and what needs a person to sign off. Role-based permissions bound what it can touch. Users preview changes before publishing. Every action is captured in an audit trail with version history and rollback.
Availability, company: Augie Command Center and Augie Procedure Studio are generally available today. A demo is via augmentir.ai. The release does not print a price.
Named voice on the release: Russ Fadel, CEO and co-founder of Augmentir. He argues the people running factories should not have to become experts in software, and that Augie reverses decades of industrial software making people learn its language. His quotes are color only and stay in Sources.
Company-stated customers on the same about-box — not independent Bad Signal audits.
Plain English for the rest of the card: SOP = standard operating procedure, the written how-to for a factory task. GA = generally available, shipping to customers. IMTS = International Manufacturing Technology Show. MES / ERP = manufacturing and enterprise planning systems that hold production and business data. CMMS = maintenance system. QMS = quality-management system. LMS = learning-management system. connected worker platform = software meant to sit with the people doing the work, not only the office planners. industrial AI agent = software that can answer floor questions or act on live plant conditions.

On 15 Sep 2026 at IMTS 2026, Augmentir announced that Augie Command Center and Augie Procedure Studio are generally available. IMTS is the International Manufacturing Technology Show. Generally available, or GA, means the software is shipping to customers, not an invite-only preview. The company PRIMARY is Augmentir’s PR Newswire release “Augmentir Reinvents Industrial Software: Natural Language Becomes the New Interface for Frontline Operations,” dated September 15, 2026, 09:07 ET, SOURCE Augmentir, Inc., and datelined HORSHAM, Pa. That company wire is the filing event. These are company claims. Augmentir’s “world’s only AI-native connected worker platform” line is company positioning — not a desk ranking.
