Fotor launches Agent to turn briefs into editable multi-track video
Fotor said Fotor Agent is available. The tool takes a brief or raw assets and produces complete, editable video projects and 4K motion graphics through natural-language prompts, with multi-track editing instead of a flattened AI clip (company).
SOFTWARE desk — same-day company primary that AI video is shifting from one-shot clips to full editable production — a timeline plus motion graphics you can still change — which is the gap creators still hit after “generate a clip.”
What it does, as the same wire has it: start with a brief or raw source materials. The agent is meant to understand creative intent, plan the work, generate supporting assets, organize scenes, and assemble everything onto a multi-track timeline. A brief here is the written job — what the video should say and show. Multi-track means separate layers for video, voiceovers, music, sound effects, subtitles, and motion graphics, so you can change one layer without baking a new flattened clip. File that brief-to-timeline picture as Fotor’s. This desk did not feed it a brief.
The gap the company names: generating a single AI clip is easy; finishing a long-form video is not. Creators still write scripts, storyboard, generate clips, make subtitles, synthesize voiceovers, find music, and design transitions across separate tools. Advanced motion graphics often need Adobe After Effects — AE, the pro tool for animated type, charts, and moving graphics. Then those pieces get assembled by hand in an editor such as Premiere Pro or CapCut. File that fragmented-pipeline picture as Fotor’s. This desk did not time a traditional edit.
Assembly, still company: the engine populates independent, dedicated tracks and calculates layout, timing, and layering in one pass. Creators can then select a clip on the timeline for a manual tweak, or attach it in chat and ask the agent to change it in plain language. File that auto-assemble / then-edit picture as Fotor’s. This desk did not sit on a timeline.
Differentiator claimed, company: conventional AI video models bake motion graphics into uneditable pixel streams — a flattened file where a late change means regenerating the whole clip. Fotor Agent, the company says, keeps graphic elements parametric. Parametric here means the live values — text, brand colors, charts, visual layers, animation pacing, and positions — stay editable on the preview canvas without a full re-render. File that parametric-versus-baked-pixels contrast as Fotor’s. This desk did not change a chart color or force a re-render.
Motion graphics, still company: describe the idea in chat and the agent produces AE-grade 4K animated infographics — charts, line graphs, data cards, key metrics, and process diagrams — with pixel-perfect text, as Fotor tells it. Creators can revise text, font size, colors, line thickness, position, or flowchart steps through those parameter controls. File the AE-quality / 4K / chat-driven motion-graphics picture as Fotor’s. This desk did not render an infographic. AE-quality is Fotor’s comparison, not a desk score against After Effects.
Semantic editing on the same wire, company — attribute, do not desk-verify: the engine analyzes a long video, pinpoints peak moments, strips filler, inserts B-roll, and auto-completes subtitles, music, and transitions, then can pair footage with motion graphics and typography. File that highlight / B-roll / auto-complete picture as Fotor’s. This desk did not cut a highlight reel.
Cost and speed claims, Fotor only — not independent: the company says an end-to-end pipeline that took marketing teams 3 to 5 days is now under 1 hour for a 2-minute video. Internal benchmarks, Fotor says, cut motion-graphics production cost to about 1/200th of traditional After Effects workflows and make generation and editing about 50 times faster. File the 3-to-5-days / under-1-hour / 1/200th / 50× lines as Fotor’s internal claims. This desk did not rerun those benchmarks or audit a production budget.
Availability, company: Fotor Agent is available at www.fotor.com/agent/. The company says it is integrated into Fotor’s AI Vibe Marketing workflow, extending the platform from image and design into end-to-end editable video. File that available-now / Vibe-Marketing line as Fotor’s. This desk did not open an account. The release does not print a price. This desk is not inventing one.
Named voice on the release: Tony Duan, founder and CEO of Fotor. He says professional visual capability should be accessible to everyone, and that Fotor Agent marks a shift from generating individual assets to completing the whole production process. File the name and title as his, via Fotor. His quotes are color only beyond that attributed shift line and stay in Sources.
Company-stated scale on the same wire — attribute, do not independently certify: Fotor says it ranked No. 1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt, and that it serves more than 800 million users worldwide, in more than 200 countries and regions. File the Product Hunt ranking and the 800-million / 200-countries lines as Fotor’s. This desk did not recount Product Hunt votes or audit a user roll.
Plain English for the rest of the card: AE / After Effects = Adobe’s pro motion-graphics tool for animated type, charts, and moving graphics. multi-track = separate layers for video, audio, and graphics you can edit independently. parametric = live values you can change — text, color, chart, pace, position — without rebuilding the whole video. flattened clip = a baked video file where those layers are already merged into pixels. brief = the written job for the video. 4K = a high-resolution frame, about 3840×2160 pixels.
PRIMARY here: Fotor’s 15 Sep 2026 PR Newswire company release — Tier A PRIMARY company source, the original record. The fotor.com/agent/ product page is product-home context, not a second originating newsroom. The Fotor Agent launch, the brief-or-raw-assets / multi-track / natural-language picture, the parametric motion-graphics contrast with baked pixel streams, the AE-quality 4K infographics claim, the semantic highlight / B-roll / auto-complete editing, the 3-to-5-days / under-1-hour / 1/200th / 50× internal-benchmark lines, the available-at-fotor.com/agent/ / AI-Vibe-Marketing integration, the Duan title, the Product Hunt No. 1 Product of the Day line, and the more-than-800-million-users / 200-countries about-box are company-attributed. Product Hunt ranking, user counts, and cost/speed benchmarks stay Fotor claims — not independently verified here. NOT claimed: pricing, independently verified Product Hunt ranking or user counts, independently measured After Effects cost or speed comparisons, that this desk tested Fotor Agent, a stock tip, or investment advice. On 15 Sep 2026 Fotor announced the launch of Fotor Agent, an AI production system the company says turns ideas and raw assets into complete, production-ready videos and 4K motion graphics that stay fully editable. The company PRIMARY is Fotor’s PR Newswire release “Introducing Fotor Agent: Create Fully Editable AE-Quality Motion Graphics and Long-Form Videos,” dated September 15, 2026, 13:15 ET, SOURCE Fotor, and datelined LOS ANGELES. That company wire is the filing event. These are company claims. This desk did not run Fotor Agent. Fotor’s “leading AI Vibe Marketing Platform” line is company positioning — not a desk ranking.
