Momentus launches MomentusMAX and makes MAX for Sales generally available
Momentus Technologies said MAX for Sales is generally available to Momentus Enterprise and Elite customers. The release also launches MomentusMAX, the company’s new umbrella for venue AI products. MAX for Sales automates lead capture and scoring, calendar conflict resolution with revenue comparisons, and full proposals with upsells (company).
SOFTWARE desk — same-day company primary that a major venue-software vendor put an AI sales CRM into GA for Enterprise and Elite customers, not just a conference tease.
What it does, as the same wire has it: MAX for Sales works alongside a venue’s existing sales team inside the Momentus platform. From inquiry to proposal, the company says it does the administrative work so reps can make the final decision on every recommendation.
Three engines, still company: Lead Engine automatically captures, deduplicates, and scores every inbound inquiry so reps see the highest-value opportunities first instead of the loudest ones. Calendar Engine resolves booking conflicts and recommends the highest-value hold using real revenue data, not gut instinct. Revenue Engine builds complete proposals with upsells and projected margin included, not just the room.
Context claims on the same wire — attribute to Momentus, not as a survey this desk ran: the company says it powers more than 4,000 venues worldwide. Venue sales teams, it says, spend up to 70 percent of their week on administrative work rather than selling — triaging leads by hand, checking calendars across multiple spaces, and building proposals from scratch. The cost of that overhead compounds quickly, the company says, with up to 50 percent of RFPs going to the first venue to respond and nearly half of all available venue days going unbooked industry-wide. An RFP is a request for proposal — the buyer’s bid packet.
Named voices on the release: Alex Griffis, chief product officer of Momentus Technologies; and Gary Firlit, director of business analytics at Floreano Convention Center. Griffis’s company-attributed line: generic AI does not know your venue, your spaces, or your clients, so MAX for Sales is built as a context layer on top of a venue’s own data. Firlit’s company-attributed anecdote: he views the tools as a way to help him do the job, not take the job. Their other quotes are color only and stay in Sources.
Availability, company: MAX for Sales is available now to Momentus Enterprise and Elite customers. More information is at gomomentus.com/max-for-sales. The release does not print a price. The public product-page FAQ may still mention an Early Access waitlist and a Q3 2026 launch window — file from the wire’s explicit “available now,” and park that stale FAQ in Sources.
Roadmap, still company and not GA today: MomentusMAX will expand over the next year with MAX for Events, focused on planning and day-of operational execution, and MAX for Finance, focused on revenue recognition, cost optimization, and forecasting.
About-box context, optional and company-attributed: more than 90,000 users in more than 57 countries; convention and exhibition centers, trade fairs, higher education, corporate venues, stadiums and arenas, and arts and culture centers; founded in 1985 and headquartered in the United States. Over the past three years the company says it invested in AI, cloud infrastructure, and ecosystem partnerships, including Ask Mo, Momentus Analytics, and Smart Imports.
Plain English for the rest of the card: CRM = customer-relationship management software, the file of leads, holds, and deals. RFP = request for proposal, the buyer’s bid packet. GA = generally available, shipping to named customers, not just a demo. hold = a tentative booking on a room or space. upsell = extra packages beyond the room, such as catering or AV. AV = audio-visual equipment. dedupe = merge repeat inquiries so the same buyer is not counted twice.

On 15 Sep 2026 Momentus Technologies announced general availability of MAX for Sales, an AI-native CRM for venue sales teams, and the launch of MomentusMAX, the platform that will house its AI product suite. A CRM is customer-relationship management software — the file of leads, holds, and deals. Generally available, or GA, means the company says the product is shipping to named customers, not just a demo. The company PRIMARY is Momentus Technologies’ PR Newswire release “Momentus Technologies Launches MomentusMAX, an AI Platform Built for Venues, and Brings MAX for Sales to General Availability,” dated September 15, 2026, 08:43 ET, SOURCE Momentus Technologies, and datelined AUSTIN, Texas. That company wire is the filing event. These are company claims. Momentus’s “global leader in venue and event management” line is company positioning — not a desk ranking.
